Business blogs is a new service that helps companies, the public sector and not-for-profit organisations to set up and run successful blogs.
Blogs are an internet publishing tool that enable organisations to more effectively engage with their audience and stakeholders including customers, suppliers, employees and prospects.
Bizblogs.biz can help you with every aspect of the process from the initial planning through to running the blog and evaluating its effectiveness.
"My advice about blogs... have good advisers who understand the blogosphere" Bob Lutz, Vice Chairman, General Motors Corporation
Unlike a traditional website we don't charge you a huge fee upfront for building it. Instead we work by charging a reasonable monthly fee that includes everything you need to get you up and running.
The basic service includes project management, planning, training, design, content creation, ideas generation, promotion and hosting. Additional services can include advanced social connectivity to help you enhance your reputation throughout the blogosphere. We can also provide you with experienced writers to help you create consistently compelling copy that will appeal to your audiences.

In the beginning...
The first blogs were the province of geeks. And then the hobbyists moved in to start chattering and gossiping. Swiftly followed by the largest technology companies such as Microsoft and Sun. Next were the politicians, eagerly embracing a new communications channel. Then some enterprising small businesses spotted the opportunity and are already reaping the rewards.
Finally big business woke up and smelt the coffee. When General Motors' vice chairman Bob Lutz started blogging suddenly people began to take notice.
Blogs are for you
Today most successful businesses and organisations have incorporated email and websites into their communications and marketing strategies.
Now is the time to add blogs to the communications mix.
Blogs are essentially a two-way communications tool that enable you to get closer to your audience and actively engage them in conversation. It's the participation that's important, which is why you need to understand how the rapidly expanding blogging community works.
The idea is that you regularly post an entry to the blog and your audience is able to respond with comments that also appear on the blog. Other bloggers will link to what you're saying and help to spread your message.
The best way to understand what blogs are is to take a look at some of the examples in the right hand column (known as a blog roll).

Bizblogs.biz is a division of Bruce Marshall Associates, a public relations and marketing communications consultancy that specialises in business-to-business, professional services and public sector clients.
Our founder, Stuart Bruce, is one of the UK's longest established business bloggers. He has been publishing his "A PR Guru's Musings" since early 2003. It has been nominated for MarketingSherpa's Best Blog Awards 2005.
Stuart was also the first elected councillor in the country to publish a blog and it is widely cited as best practice for e-engagement and e-democracy. The blog was a winner of The Guardian's 'Best Political Blog Awards' of 2004.
Our dedicated business blogging consultancy, Bizblogs.biz, was established in early 2005. It is headed by Stuart Bruce and can call on a team of experienced bloggers, both in the UK and throughout the English-speaking world.
What makes us different is not only do we understand the blogosphere but we have an award-winning track record in professional public relations and corporate communications. Many of our competitors come from a technical or web design background and are unable to advise clients on integrating blogs into strategic communications and marketing strategies.
